The trip beyond Neptune takes two Earth years. Of the thirty-two years he’s been married, “Granny” Frites has spent ten of them out past Neptune earning his fortune in salvage fees, and twenty of them frozen for the trip there and back. Now many years younger then his wife, he still thinks she’s “an amazing woman.”
