I have a pretty low opinion of my drawing skills, but a pretty high one of my fight choreography. Like, the only guys I tip hats to on that front, off the top of my head, are Justin Jordan/Tradd Moore, Masashi Kishimoto, Matt Fraction/David Aja, and Ian Flynn/Spaz.

Here’s the thing about fights in comics: too many of them are “BOOM BOOM BOOM” slugfests/splashes, when they need to be “pow pow BOOM powpowpow BOOMpow” back and forths. A good fight scene is a flowing tug of war, where the tugs are kicks to the face.
