So, saw Prometheus last week. I was ready for either a thinky epic or a structurally solid sci-fi horror movie, and I got the latter hijacking the former to show an example that sometimes, not always, but sometimes, curiosity gets you killed and faith solves nothing, but both are very human choices that can be made in approaching the universe.

I am all about that.

Also the sub-theme of: sometimes, dad’s got his own shit going on, okay?

Anyway, good movie, probably a great extended cut, can totally see why it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
